| My trip to bjork was admittedly the culmination of a very large evening. So some of the exact details are a little bit blurry. I do remember that the main bar (not the dancefloor bar) was very cosy and the people there very friendly (aren't they always?). Of course having just changed ownership and having had a bit of a revamp, the decor and setting was plush to say the least. Although i did think that paying 100kr to get in was a bit steep, it wasn't actually too expensive by Norwegian standards. I think that apart from the setting inside the club and perhaps the location what impressedd me the most was the staff there, the barstaff seemed friendly and professional as did the door staff. One thing that did dissapoint me was the dancefloor... not so much the dancefloor itself, just the fact that it was empty, now they certainly could have used a great resident DJ (no i will not be offering my services not staying here long enough to become resident) with the music being a bit of the generic pop variety. You can take it from my last comment that the crowd was a bit sparse, but those who were there were not only sexy and stylish, but friendly as well! Obviously Bjork will get plus points for their location considdering that they are right in the middle of central Bodo, and in one of the busiest malls, the glashuset. Overall i did have a good time there, and am sure that i would have regardless of the multiple beers, cocktails and glasses of wine! It's clear that this venue is one of the classier in Bodo and will have a bright future, certainly if the quality of their meals make it a one stop location for dinner and dancing. |
